The "priority date" listed next the patent's entry on the inventor's name-based search results, and not on the bibliographic data page of the individual patent, is listed as this patent's filing date. This is done on the basis that it rarely or never matches the filing date of any conceivable predecessor. The titular date on said bibliographic data page is treated as the date granted as well as the date of publication. These dates are often quite close to that of the possible filing, and we could be wrong. We have very little on antique Spanish patenting processes.
