- The scan of this patent shows "Ausgegeben" date January 1919; yet it was listed with granted (erteilt) patents in the 28 December 1918 issue of Zeitschrift für Flugtechnik und Motorluftschiffahrt, strongly suggesting that the German Ausgegeben, like the Austrian, truly refers to the date of publication, even in the absence of a date granted on the patent itself. (Presumably the basic information about the patent could be known and reprinted even if the document itself had not yet been published.)
