The original document is available at the Lilienthal museum site.[1]

There are two archive records of this patent at the Lilienthal museum. Both refer with a misspelling to inventor "Steward Cairncross" and one refers by incorrect number 598551.[2][3]

The German version is significantly abbreviated compared to the American, but uses the same illustrations.

Inventor location: Grafton, Walsh county, North Dakota, U.S.
