“One uses fans suitably arranged to produce the movement of the balloon in all directions, by drawing air from the atmosphere and returning it against surfaces, sails, walls, etc., of suitable shape and suitably arranged so that the air projected on the said surfaces causes, by reaction, the movement of the balloon in the desired direction.”
