The aeroplane according to the invention comprises three superposed supporting planes, diagonal stay wires one end of which is fixed to the central plane, the other end being fixed to the upper or lower planes, a fuselage on each side of the longitudinal axis of the aeroplane, each fuselage being provided with a propeller at its forward end, and a landing gear comprising three sets of wheels, two sets of which are mounted on frames secured to the lower plane the axles of the wheels in such sets being secured to the respective frame by elastic bands, the forward axle of each such sets being also connected to the frame by two links each of which is pivoted at one end to such axle and at the other end to a member universally jointed to the frame.
