Patent AU-1917-4875

From Inventing aviation

Stabilizer mounted on an airplane frame, including several balancing mechanisms, including a plumb which will close a circuit if the airplane is not level. The circuit activates a magnet which acts on a steering mechanism.

Macy filed a number of airplane stabilizer patents in the U.S., but (maybe) only one in Australia. The present patent is for now called supplementary to Patent US-1916-1327055 as the closest match, but it's not a perfect copy and might reflect material from Macy's other patents as well.
