Minor F. H. Gouverneur was an engineer and aero inventor in Wilmington, NC. He was the general manager of Wilmington's electric street railway and was vice president of a cotton mill.
With Harold M. Chase, Gouverneur built a series of aircraft in 1910-1911 beginning with a quadriplane called the Gouverneur I.[1]
