John Alexander Douglas McCurdy, one of the designer-builders in the AEA formed company to manufacture his own designs.

Headless biplane with directed connected propeller in rear; no ailerons or plane warping; six were built by Queen Aeroplane Co.

At same time was partner in McCurdy-Willard Aeroplane Co., New York, NY, formed to conduct exhibition flying. McCurdy later joined Curtiss (need to determine when and specific company).
