Martin and Handasyde

H. P. Martin and George Handasyde, formed company at Woking, England, to build aircraft at Brooklands.

Their 1908 monoplane failed to fly, but No. 2 monoplane was successful and several iterations later led to military trials monplanes, 1912. Also built Transatlantic monoplane and pusher biplane racer, 1914. Incorporated 1914 as Martinsyde Ltd.
