Dr. Joseph Sablatnig, or perhaps Jože Zablatnik (Slovenian) was a pilot and experimenter, and a director of Union Flugzeugwerke, 1913-1915, and a founder of Sablatnig Flugzeugbau in Berlin. The company made seaplanes and other aeroplanes from 1915-1921.

Sources describe him as Slovene or Austrian. The company was in Berlin and he spent much of his career there it seems.
