John Kinnersley Smythies

From Inventing aviation

John Kinnersley Smythies was an aero inventor, with occupation his French-registered patent of 1860 associated with Paris (14, boulevard Montmartre, Seine), and also with the agent Maurice Sautter, Paris (rue de l'Oratoire, 6), and his 1882 French patent associated with the agent Desnos, Paris (boulevard Magenta, 11). I have associated the isolated surname, as found in some patents entries, with the complete name listed above. I have reason to believe that "Smythies, le sieur" is the above-mentioned gentleman, with a prolific career in innovation, and with multi-national patent registrations.
