Isaac Bell was a farmer and aero inventor, a Farmer filing from Parkmount, Banbridge, County Down, Ireland.[1] In terms of national designation, Ireland will present some peculiarities. For instance, our contemporary Hungarian data gives him the national designation "(XX)", on the data page that is, as opposed to the original, because of the territorial changing of hands which has occurred, and the same data along with the original gives a filing year of 1912 and a granting year of 1924 and a publication year of 1934.[2] All of this has to do with the both with factors peculiar to Ireland as well as factors attribitable to World War I more generally.

French data has him as being located in England.[3] This may reflect networking in the course of furthering his invention, or it may reflect French handling of the national issue.
