George Francis Myers

George Francis Myers was an aero inventor working on heavier-than-air flight at the same time as the Wright Brothers. According to Freudenthal, 1949, Flight into history, p. 19, he filed a patent for a heavier-than-air design in 1897. He had an engineering degree from Cornell.
