Franz Bollhorn was an aero inventor at No. 14, Am Bahndamm, Veddel, near Hamburg, Germany. On a British patent he gave his occupations as Master Mariner.
A later patent on a non-aero topic gave his occupation as "Seaman", he'd moved to Lauenburg on the Elbe, and his full name appeared to be Franz Johann Ludolph Bollhorn. [1]
