Ferdinand-Charles-Honoré-Philippe d'Esterno, usually called comte d'Esterno' was an aero inventor, and a landlord at 45 rue Saint-Sébastien, Paris, département Seine, France.
d'Esterno's "detailed analysis of flapping and soaring bird flight, Du Vol des Oiseaux (On the flight of birds) was published as a pamphlet in 1864."[1]
