Corneille-Gustave-Ernest Trumelet-Faber was an French Brigadier General[1] who mainly enters our field of interest by way of his work with parachutes. We'll have to gather more data, but we know that he was a casualty of World War I, more specifically that after being wounded while commanding the French Army's 80th Infantry Division, he died at the Hôpital d'Ost-Dunkerque, in Belgium, on 11 March 1916, at 63 years of age.[2]
