Amans de Chavagneux was an aero inventor, with actually an extraordinary range of innovation, Paris (4, quai de l'École, Seine). He is also associated with Paris (58, quai de la Mégisserie, Seine), and with several other addresses, apparently all Parisian, all "Seine", and virtually all "quai de . . ." variations.
Amans de Chavagneux had an extended career in innovation and was also an artist. He was perhaps a "Dilettante", having to cede the occasional patent to others.
