The aero club in South Bend (known as either the Aero Club of South Bend or the South Bend Aero Club) appears founded no later than June 1910. The club hosted the second stopover in the Chicago-New York aeroplane race in October 1910.

B. H. Walters was secretary of the club, which had 25 members in June 1910.
