Étienne-Jules Marey

Étienne-Jules Marey (1830–1904) was a doctor, physiologist, and aero researcher in France. He was president of the Société française de navigation aérienne, as well as a member of the Institut de France and the Académie de Médicine.[1]

Among his many publications, an influential one pertaining to flight was Le Vol des Oiseaux (link).
